BOOK DONATION TO MHPHS BY CLASS 68


MHPHS Class 68 thru the help of Rotary Club of Makati San Antonio (RCMSA) and Rotary Club of Makati, as well as the UP Sentro ng Wikang Filipino, donated several books to Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School last July 16, 2009 at the MHPHS campus grounds in Sta. Isabel, Malolos, Bulacan. The Rotary Club book donation was made possible thru its "Books Across the Seas Program". The UP SWF books were the part of its program to publish books in science and mathematics, written in Filipino.

 
The donation was made by Glecy R. Bagasin, Director of of RCMSA and Past President of Class 68 , representing RCMSA President Jon Arayata to Luming de Jesus- Catap, current Class 68 President and to Loida R. Alcaraz, Administrative Officer IV. Members of Class 68, Perfecto Martin, Medy Bernardo, Irene Bamba, Tess Ramos, Nona Venturina, Temis dela Rama and Beng Alba graced the occasion. Also witnessing the turnover were the department heads of Science and English, Solidad dela Paz and Estrellita L. Dayao, respectively, School Librarian Encarnacio C. Mallorca and School Nurse Jocelyn G. Angeles.

The books that were given can be used as references for Mathematics, Literature, Language, Writing and Grammar, World Studies, Chinese and Roman History. These books will surely be a good addition to the MHPNHS library.
